Standard score

Explanation

The term "I.Q." is reserved for tests that aim to give a good indication of general intelligence, typically containing a variety of item types. For one-sided tests, on which one's score may be relatively further below or above one's general intelligence level if one has an uneven aptitude profile (or as a result of fraud; one-sided tests are the primary targets of cheaters), the use of "I.Q." is avoided and a "Standard score" on the same scale (σ = 15) is given.
